Baby shower soon, when to hand out invites?

My baby shower is on March 7th... so 5 weeks from today... When do I hand out the invitations? I already have an event made on facebook but that's mainly for friends and some relatives on facebook, ALOT of my family is not on facebook as well as my fiances... If you can suggest a date for me that'd be great!

I would hand them out on February 25th ... plenty of time for people to decide if they can make it!

Do them now if you have the time then people can change there schedules to come if they need too, it wouldn't be too much notice anyways.

If you have people that are from out of town, I would send those now. Otherwise, I would get them out in the next 2 weeks or so. You want to give them time to buy you something.

I would start sending them out in about a week or two.........so anybody that wants to come and has anything to do can have time toreschedulele or take off work.............Be considerate to them and they will to you

i would say now. a month a head is enough time for everyone to decide what gifts to get, to clear their schedule and so that they wont make plans for that day. i usually get invitations to baby showers 2 months ahead.

I would send them out in the next week and a half. The reason you don't want to send them out too early is because people forget.. My friend just sent me an invitation to her bridal shower last week and I already threw it out to clean off my counters and I can't remember the time or even where it's being held.. I wasn't going to hang on it until April though and have it clutter up..

You want to give people time to remember about your shower, but time to get off work, make plans to attend, and get a gift.
