Did you send out pregnancy announcements in the mail?
My mother in law told me I should have sent out pregnancy announcement cards in the mail instead of telling people either in person, over the phone or on facebook. I have never heard of pregnancy announcement cards, birth announcements YES but pregnancy announcements...? Ive had numerous family members and friends who have had babies and was never sent a pregnancy announcement so I am just curious if this is a normal thing I should have done or just something people do on occasion?

I've never heard of anything like that before and i'm assuming your telling people that are close to you, then you should tell them in person or on the phone because sending a card is a very impersonal thing for such a special and happy occasion. I would tell all the close family and friends in person and then put it on facebook after that, the news will soon spread.

So you are both a wh0re AND an attention wh0re. no one cares that you are pregnant. Just tell your parents and closest friends, beyond that no one cares.

Ive never sent anything out like that and nobody I know sent them out. I think its a waste of money to do something like that.

No, I didn't send out pregnancy announcement for any of my three children...never even heard of them! I didn't even send out birth announcements, the people who would really care about the birth of our children already knew they were born and would come and visit.

Maybe if you live far away from certain people you could send them one.. but if your on facebook I bet they already know so it would be a little weird to send a card saying "HEY I'M PREGNANT!". But I actually have recently seen a pregnancy announcement card. It is the first one I have ever seen so I thought it was a Little different but everyone tells people in their own way I guess.
