how do you stop getting facebook notifications in your mail?

how can u stop getting the notifications from facebook on your mail such as hotmail. it is soooooo frustrationg and takes up soooo much space on my account. i have to flickk through soo many things sumtyms just to check imporant mail.

Very easy.
Click on Account
Click on Account Settings
Click on Notifications at the top.
De-select everything under Email.
Be sure to save!
