I am currently in China visting some relatives
I cannot express myself enough how boring it is here
and china's great firewall still has youtube blocked
and im just wondering if anyone has found a way to get on youtube in china

We block millions of websites such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Blogspot etc. because Communist Party of China deems these websites detrimental to maintaining social peace and harmony.

CCP is always concerned about the type of influence that foreign websites are likely to have on Chinese citizens. Thousands of paid web commentators (50 cent party) keep looking at all Internet Forums and websites. Any website having a content that contradicts CCP position will be automatically blocked once it is reported by our 50 centers.

Where it is not possible to delete the comment or block a website altogether, our 50 centers will tactfully try to argue the case in a way to limit the damage. Many 50 centers are active on this forum as well.

Accessing the blocked websites by any means, be it VPN or proxies will be construed as violation of Chinese Censorship Laws. If you are a foreigner visiting this country, you are expected to observe Chinese Laws failing which a serious case will be made against you and you will be certainly deported.

Search "youtube blocked china" and find there's a free secured proxy that will let you through youtube, facebook, twitter, blogspot, wordpress, etc.

You are wrong. I have been using a secured proxy this month and it is working perfectly.

Free proxy servers are slow and unreliable. Plus the bandwidth isn't good enough to stream much of anything. If you are willing to spend a little money get a VPN service and you will connect to everything. You still may have bandwidth problems though. Just search for VPNs.

If you want some entertainment do what the Chinese do an load QQ on you computer and play games and chat with friends.

Blocked websites can be accessed by web proxies or VPNs. Ask your relatives about the proxies that are currently working as the proxies keep getting blocked. No one will tell you the name of the proxy openly on this forum because the Chinese 50 centers keep scanning these web forums and report them to the authorities. Once reported the proxy too is blocked.

You do not allow email communication through your profile page. Enable the email facility and I might tell you the proxy I'm using.
