Someone is messing with my notifications on Facebook, can you tell me what happened?

It keeps saying so and so has posted something on your wall, then I click the something with is underlined, then it takes me to a page where I click "allow", then theres a flashing clown, somewhat like a rickroll, and this keeps happening everything I click a notification that says"___ has posted soemthing on your wall"
I think that it gave me a virus, and that someone hacked into my account.
Has this happened to you?

that happened to me too and i'm so scared. 'cause i really don't want it to be a virus or a hacker. i hope it's just a stupid joke or that the facebook staff is trying to figure it out. i got like 30 something notifications about it, but i just ignored it at first. and when i did click on it it was that creepy clown and then it said that it sent it to 2 of my friends... but it didn't say that it posted it on my wall. so i'm just crossing my fingers and hoping it's not s'bad. i'm also about to go change my facebook password, just in case...

but it's not real.

it's probably one of those applications because you can look at what people wrote on your wall when you click "profile" to see your own page.

Scan your computer right now! No one hacked your account, IT'S A VIRUS! my friend just got those notifications about a half hour ago. A clown barring its pointed teeth on a flashing background popped up when she clicked on it. She scanned her computer and has already found four trojan viruses. When you click on it, it will send the same virus to random friends, so be careful and warn your friends. I hope this helps.

OMG this has happened to me... except i never saw the pic becuz my computer blocked it (phew). this has been happening to ALOT of people... hopefully, it's not a hacker or a virus. i scanned my computer and it was fine, but here's how i stopped it: so on the notifications tab, u click "see all". there will be a blue box on the rite side, with lists of applications. find the one that says "Feed" (the application with the gray box as it's pic), then UNCHECK it. a yellow box on the top should appear and say, "Notifications from Feed are now hidden." , below that, click "Mark Feed notifications as Spam". this should do it. hope it helps(:
