Does facebook notify you if a friend request has been turned down?

When submitting a friend request on facebook do you receive a notification if that person says no. Or, if the person you submitted a friend request to ignores you does that show up somewhere?

No. The only way to know this is if you look for the person again and the "Add as a Friend" icon is there again, which means they denied the request.

If they haven't accepted or denied then it'll say "Awaiting Response"

nope it doesnt say anything it only alerts you if they accept it
