When you have a Facebook account, is there a way to stop notifications going to your email?

Yes, go on settings and sort out what gets emailed to you and what doesn't!

1. Click on "Account" at the top next to "Profile"
2. Click "Account Settings"
3. Click the "Notifications" tab.
4. Uncheck the e-mail boxes for what you don't want an email for!

Log in to your Facebook account at http://www.facebook.com.

Click on the "Settings" link located near the upper right corner of the page.

Select "Off" for each of the desired categories, and then click the button at the bottom to save the changes
