I really want to have twins! They do kind of run in my family on my fathers side. Cassava is supposed to be really good, but I don't know where to buy it. Is yucca the same thing, and will it have the same effect? And do I have to cook it a certain way?

Try looking on google for Tapioca recipes. This derives straight from the Cassava root. Its a little bit more easily obtained than the actual Cassava itself.
Good luck with the twin thing.
I did google it and it is said to increase the chance of twins, so anything is worth a try. The chances of twins are higher when they are on your side of the family too.

Fingers crossed and Babydust to all

Cassava and Yucca are the same thing. Its in the potato family but its thicker in texter and a bit band but if its seasoned right hmmm--mmmm =) You should be abe to buy it right outta the regular grocery store where the yams potatoes and such are stored. But if you have a hard time finding it you might have to check a spanish specialty store (usualy in spanish areas) I f you dont live an any are like this, not a city, you might fair better tring to googlw where you can buy in your area. GL I want twins too.

It is acutally true it helps with twins. I am acutally from Nigeria and the Yorubas are known for high rate of twins due to the high consumption of wild yams. Yucca is similar to yam and should have the same effect but I'm not aware about that. The ingredients in the yams acutally triggers the release of more eggs thereby leading to twins. Mostly eat a special flour called Amala, which is specially made and Yourbas love it. Wild Yam tuber can be purchased from a spanish store but I usually get Amala flour from african stores and also some jamaican stores which are hard to find. We have so many secrets as to conceiving twins and children, which I can give you some tips. First would be to make sure your hormones are balanced, well rested.
Since I have been living in the US I forgot my roots but now that I'm married I'm actually going back to tips and eating and resting the way we do. Rest is very crucial, eat lots of greens-broc,spinach,collards. But there is a special green called cassava leaves, most women take it and within 1-2yrs actually conceive. Before I got preg my hubby's friends, their wives ate cassava leaves every week consistently and within 1 yr they both got pregnant again. For Real. Cassava Leaves also Called Feuilles de Manioc or Pondu(in Congo and french speaking african countries)and Eat it mostly with fish and several recipes.
Causes of fertility problems are complex and vary from woman to woman as well as from couple to couple. However, many women have used the help of certain herbs to establish pregnancy with very good results and without the side effects often associated with fertility drug. Wild Yam does not work for everyone but its not a sin to try. Make sure You only eat it AFTER OVULATION.If taken before it can actually prevent ovulation. Take it on days when you start ovulating. It also increases progesterone which is crucial to keep pregnancy. Most african women who are pregnant eat it almost every week with lots of fish and greens, which also helps to prevent miscarriage. We dance with our hips and have sex with motion, slow romba, so helps with quick delivery of sperm to it's destination and most importantly fulfillment. There is also a special recipe called Edikaikong soup- people would tell you not to cook this unless you want to get preg men usually eat it and women eat it also but key is to have sex on that day. Recipes are available on the sites below and also if you have facebook, a group called "so you think you can cook", has pictures foods, tips on cooking and recipes. You can purchase flour from - http://www.afrimartonline.com and other special herbs. Also if you really do not want to cook the wild yam, there is actually a tea from traditional medicinals called -Women's Liberty it has wild yam extract in it also, which can help you stay consistent. I am not consisitent in wating it so this is acutally helping me too. lol. There are so many tips but I hope this helps. Post if u have any comment, concerns or suggestions
