Why is it so hard to get Twitter followers?

I see that everybody had 600 followers and I only have like 4! What am I doing wrong?! Please help

well first of all your profile pic is of a south park character....
1. change profile pic
2. tweet.
3. follow others.
4. tweet quotas people want to read.
5 retweet
6. dont tweet to much but not a lot.
7. stop complaining about not having followers
8. follow theemily3bones ( emily panitz)
