what if Jesus did not believe in being worshiped bowed down to or submitting to church order?
and that to serve God was to help and serve your fellow man.

I am hearing people on facebook say that only if you serve the church you serve God and quoting the bible like that . and saying the only way to get to heaven is to serve God and not each other. So isnt serving god helping one another? I dont have the specific quote...but I was wondering about that and why its maybe missunderstood?

Listen Mr Perfect, Jesus does not want to be worshipped. That's the
problem with all these Christian groups. There worshipping the wrong
entitiy, we should all worship God the Father only. Jesus said "don't
pray to me, pray to my father". Then the Our father was recited by Jesus.
When you serve God your serving the Church, when your serving the
Church your serving God. Follow the 10 commandments and the golden
rules Jesus said would endear us to God. That's all you need.
Give to others when you can, and be kind & gracious with everyone.
God bless you.

Serving God is confessing and beleiving that Jesus is Lord & ressurrected from the dead (Romans 9-10); and repenting of ur sins, doing just works, & going to a real christian church. U cant just do good works & end up in Heaven...u gotta beleive in Jesus

You are correct. If you love God, you will serve God. If you serve God, you will serve your fellow man as God stated you should. Here is a Biblical quote, "Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets"
(Matthew 22:36-40).

You are correct that according to God, to love God's children is to love God,, and without loving others we cannot say we love God.

I have discovered though there is a coming into an awareness of God through the Spirit of God, and when we do, the most natural thing to do is to worship Him. Nothing else would be appropriate.

Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.” The woman said to him, “I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am he.”

John 4:21-26
