How to change Facebook Chat for Android account?

I recently changed my Facebook password, and now on my HTC Cha Cha the Facebook Chat application won't sign me in, and the Facebook button no longer allows me to post updates to my wall. I tried changing my password back to the original, but Facebook won't accept the password. I'm sure there is a way of changing the settings for both of these apps, but I am unsure. Can anyone help?

I would set the password the same in both account.

Go back to Facebook, and go to HELP. you can also contact them direct to get the answer.
