finding my mother i have meet her before she has a jail record?

After the age of 5 or 6 i never saw my mom after family stuff.
She wasn't a good mother but for personal reasons i would like to meet her Again before she dies.
I have no idea where she is living or how to find her so please any advice?
also she has a record at the jail and i was wondering if they could help.

I don't know if the jail keep those records, but usually the courthouse does. You might also want to try facebook (if you don't have a facebook account, get one..they're free.. and post comments to your friends and family that you are looking for her..their friends and family will see it and maybe someone will have the information you are looking for). Also, you may want to run an ad in the local papers in places that she lived in. By doing that, someone is bound to have information that will at least get you going in the right direction.
