Maybe there parents wont allow them or they dont have computer but they lie on you that they have one. or these pple dont like these stuff.

Personal choice. Some people are convinced that it is a waste of time, and would rather see people face to face rather than face to book.

in my case, my Mum doesn't let me..
Heaven knows why. When I ask her why, she says she has her own reasons, and that however it isn't appropriate for someone my age. and I try not to scream saying, "YEAH, WELL i'M GON BE FREAKIN SIXTEEN!!!" |

1. They dont be on internet usually or dont have one.
2. They think it makes them special. 3. Dont have any good photos. BUT, it is personal preference. Nobody is forcing you to have one. It is just facebook, not pants real life. |

Well I don't have facebook for the reason I don't need my life out there for all my 'friends' to see and don't tell me I can talk to people on facebook I haven't talked to for a long time because if I really wanted to talk to someone I would talk to them face to face and if i haven't talked to them for a very long time it probably means i don't want to as well. And also facebook is just another ego stroking tool like twitter. And for young people, in their teens, whatever you post up on your facebook will come back and bit you in your future, especially when searching for a job. Even if your profile is on private it still is a privacy issue. I like my privacy and friends that I actually talk to in real life.
I guess that's just my reason, the rest of the world's is probably - too old - no internet - can't be bothered - lives in China In the end it's down to personal preference, I'm in my teens and I'm not the only one who doesn't have facebook among my peers. Hope that helped... |
