Well I wonder if you could try sending letters to the addresses he had back then. It is likely that someone living at his famillies old addresses might still be living there, or might know where the family is. You might try Cuban newspapers on line, or a Cuban embassy. Facebook is very popular too, most people find family that way. zabasearch.com charges for some information, google.com, switchboard.com, genealogyfourm.com, myheritage.com, governmentrecords.co.nr, You might also consider yahoo answers. In the Arts & Humanities category, they have a genealogy category and asking for help there might be best, since these people might know sites that will help for free. I sent a letter to an address of some people I was trying to find and just explained who I was and how I knew the people and if they were my friends, to please contact me, and if they were not, that I was sorry to bother them. Ironically they were my friends and I got to see them after looking for them for 17 years. Try even if you think it is a dead end, maybe it isn't.
