How much will it cost me if I was to bring my sister from American Samoa to New Zealand for chemotherapy?

My sister has stage 3 cancer and is looking at coming to New Zealand for her treatment. I'm not sure which is best for her, either going to Hawai'i or coming here. She's my baby sister whom I haven't met in person but kept in contact through phone calls and facebook.

Instead of bringing her to New Zealand, U can as well think of bringing her to India. CMC, Vellore, Image Hospitals, Hyderabad, Apollo Hospitals, etc. The cost comes to INR.5.00-7.00 lacs at the most. U can visit the hospitals' web sites and know exactly.

New Zealand has socialized medical care, so what it costs a citizen or permanent resident is quite different to the cost for someone who has traveled there.

You would ned to contact the treatment centre direct to establish the costs.

Remember you need to factor in travel costs, accommodation etc as well.

Most cancer patients are better being treated near their home.
