does the htc wildfire show if you have got a message from facebook like the blackberry does?

i want to know so i can reply to some one on facebook like blackberry shows that you have got an message from facebook/ notification so i was wondering does the htc wildfire show that ?

yes.
all notifications are stored in a bar at the top of the screen. its not like a major ringtone to inform you or anything, but it will let you know. it will also include notifications of new downloads, any upgrades on apps, twitter, messages, mail, etc.
also, i think, like the ipod touch/iphone, if fb is on one of your 6 screens, it will have a little 1 in a wee red box if you have 1 notification on fb etc.
you can just slide down the bar and tap it to go to it.
