Sorry to tell you but she probably isn't interested. The age gap will seem big to her, especially with her having a child. To answer your questions:

(1) You may have seemed a little too eager, but generally I don't think you said anything that would offend anyone or make them mad.

(2) Could be a number of reasons, like personal life getting busier, but you stated that she's been tweeting/facebooking a lot, which suggests that it's just you she's avoiding, though it could be that she's focusing on people she knows in real life for some reason.

(3) I'd say it's a bad idea. The vibe I get is that she was put off by too many questions, so it's best to leave it for a while at least. I suggest you ignore her for a while. Another thing you could do (while ignoring her) is post random tweets/statuses related to the interests you have in common. She will see them, perhaps even like them or comment, and it'll probably make you look more interesting to her. Remember though, even if she likes a status or two, don't start talking to her again until she messages you. And don't be put off if she doesn't take notice of them, she might be afraid of encouraging you if she's not interested. This might take a looooong time, so I suggest you don't hang on to her, there are other girls Smile

(4) If she didn't give you her number, it is because she didn't want you to text her. I have NO idea why she asked in the first place, it is possible she was considering texting you but changed her mind.

(5) Don't get her number and don't text her. Seem as uninterested as she seems.

I bet there are far more people who you have a lot in common with than you could possibly imagine, consider joining groups on fb and finding people that way. If you don't ever get back in contact with her, it's her loss.
