Why does he only talk to me on facebook but not at school?

My friends older brother will comment sometimes on my status's like not a conversation comment but just a comment. We have never spoken at school before and also sometime I will see him glance at me in the hall. Sorry but I am not trying to make it sound like he is gay and likes me. He might be shy Idk, so anywho any explanations?

that is really common. people feel more comfortable when they are online rather than talking to someone face to face. that's why cyber bullying is so big right now, people wouldn't dare say those things to other's faces, but when they are online, they know they can say whatever they want.
