How to turn off internet on samsung galaxy s3 !! Keeps charging me !!?

Hey everyone, so I've had the s3 for like 2 weeks and it's great except for the fact that it's charging me crazyyyy !! And I've tried about everything, I've turned off the data network and I've also removed the weather widget from the home scree ( as many people said I should do ) but this obviously isn't the only thing ... I have no idea what to turn off or remove anymore ... I use whatsapp and facebook and all that through wifi .. and when I'm out the net doesn't work but somehow it keeps charging me biggggg time !!! Please help me !!!!

There's "mobile data" toogle on your notification bar, disable it to disable your mobile data networks
