Mothers maiden name and fathers name even if parents arent divorced?

I'm just curious. I wouldn't go by both names, but just to put on facebook and other sites...just to represent my hispanic culture i guess. My parents arent divorced either. Would it be 'incorrect' for me to do that?

That sounds appropriate. Many people on facebook and other sites have their full first name or last names even if socially they only go by a nick name or one last name socially.
