What are the negative effects of Facebook?
I mean, do some people even commit suicide?

Cyber bullying, addiction, having low-self esteem after believing that everyone has a perfect life but you, etc.

I suppose some would because of bullying.

I read an article on yahoo about a solo mother from America who killed her infant son because he was crying while she was trying to play Farmville on Facebook. True story.

Some people get so freaking obsessed that their line between virtual and reality become blurred and they end up doing crazy sh*t.

I never understood "cyber bullying". So sme fag you've never met calls you gay, or fat, or ugly. So what? Don't be such a b**ch about it. You're committing suicide because some forever alone a*shole on a computer called you some name. Don't be such a pussy. Throw some comebacks, just ignore the f**ker. Something. Just don't turn into some depressed emo and eventually kill yourself.

The only practically negative effect of social networks is stupidity.

Very easy to give far too much personal information away on fb

and yes, I expect many have been bullied or frightened by people on social networking site, even Yahoo Answers has it's fair share of bullying
