I was small - so I don't know their last name. Father was italian, mother was irish (as in FROM those countries) moved to the US, had a son. Lived in a certain state, moved to Italy.

I have their first names & the state. ANY awesome search site out there?

If you can get their birthday or social security numbers and check vital statistics in the state they're from.

No website has magical powers, a website is just a database of information and depending on what you put in will depend on what you get, if they have the information .............

So you are looking for someone in Italy who once lived in the US who has an Italian father and Irsih mother and you only have their first names......... you have posted in genealogy which is ancestors, normally dead ancestors, however these people are living...so FB, friends reunited, the other social network websites are the only ones.............

Your best bet would be to ask possible mutual friends or acquaintances. Former neighbors and mutual family friends may have kept in touch or at least remember the names.

Facebook. Search for
Bob California
for instance. You'll get a gazillion hits. How you wade through them is up to you.

(No, I don't expect this will help you find him. I do expect it will show you how hopeless your cause is.)

Possible, well anything is possible, but not very probable, or likely, Mary, Catherine, Coleen or Alberto, Alfredo or Vittorio from say Maryland you are talking about thousands of women Men named Al, Albert, Alfred, Vic or Victor is not less common. I am not saying that it would be impossible, you might find someone who knew you when these people were here and that could tell you more, but it would not be easy, I would start with people who knew you or your family and might have know these people. You might try some of the social networking sites.

Unless his name was Jesus or some very well known person, you've got your work cut out for you. Try to provide as much info as possible in your searches. You could try the local church if he lived in the same hometown too. Good luck!
