What does the moon mean by someones name on facebook?

I know it means There away but like does it mean they didnt go on the computer for a while or they closed it? Like i dont get it! Someone tell me!

it means that they didnt log out when they turned off their comp

what it really means is they are idle. there facebook page is open but maybe they are washing dishes or eatings upper.have you ever left your fb page open then started doing something else for a while. that is idle.or if they are using an application on face book,it will show the moon also.in order to appear active they must be using fb directly.wheni use farmtown i show up idle even though im there.
