why do they have their kids as their facebook picture?

it does my head in, no one wants to see their picture or know how 'good they are at eating all their food' surely being a mother isnt all they are? they had a life before they had kids so why do they go to the dogs after?

Because once becoming mothers, our children become the most important thing in our lives and we are proud of what good little eaters they are, and all of their other accomplishments.

I have a picture of my daughter and I as my Facebook picture, but I have had pictures of just my daughter up there. The picture I choose simply happens to be my favourite picture at that time.

Because I've never put a picture up willingly on facebook or any networking site. But having my daughter's picture up makes her laugh when she's sitting on my lap, so that works. Before her, I used my dog or cat's picture.

I find that a little annoying when someone sends me a friend request and they have a private profile... its like okay you have a cute kid, but who are you?? lol My daughter is my world and I do have tons of pics of her on my facebook, but if she's in my profile pic its a pic of both of us. I have a great one of the two of us in the pool. Right now its one of her sitting on my lap on a porch swing. Its a good pic of me, and an okay one of her... its my profile, not hers lol.

Lets see, once you become a parent that life is pretty much to most important thing in the world. Obviously you don't understand that but why would a picture of a person getting hammered or a high school picture being any more important then a picture of a life you created with your partner? I cant think of anything more important and I am proud to have a picture of my son up there on facebook.
