Is it weird to send your exboyfriends girlfriend a birthday message?

My exboyfriends girlfriend sent me a friend request on facebook. Eventhough I did not want to add her. Should I send her a birthday message? I think she added me to keeps tabs on me. Eventhough she is with him I don't understand why she would want to. I'm afriad if I don't my ex might be mad at me.

No on the "Happy Birthday" message. it is really weird and even though she friend requested you, she wasn't doing it to be friends. if you do send her that message it will look like you are still hung up on the guy. and even though you may not want him, befriending her will make you feel connected to him, and it will show.
