How do I get more friends on facebook?

So right now I only have 25 friends and there all really close, but I want to be one of those people with 100.

How do I get more friends on facebook without asking EVERYONE to be my friend?

lol...to the 2nd comment. Think of anyone you ever went to school with, work with, neighbors etc.... That what I did. some poeple invite me and I dont know them, but thats ok. Some people I dont know, but we went to the same school. Its not like you have to talk to them or even get to know them. I have 126 friends (small number compared to others) but I only really communicate one way or another with maybe 8 of them

I have 700 friends just encase you were wondering.
One you do not want to add random people. Facebook is more intimate than Myspace, and has more personal information so be careful of that! What you do is, when you are talking to your friends or new people, at the end of the convo ask " Do you have a facebook , you should message me ! " its easy. but again NO PEOPLE YOU DONT KNOW! Soo, you will find people that are friends with your friends that you know. And you will be getting requests. I have not added anyone i dont know on fb.
Again, i did move a bit so i naturally have more friends. Give people in your school or job ur facebook, soon it will be a chain reaction!!!

1. Find random people pictures in google image.
2. Use temp email services such as guerrillamail or mailinator to make multiple facebook accounts.
3. Add them to your main facebook account.
4. ???
5. Profit!!!

Or just add everyone you can remember from high school, primary school, work, etc. Keep an eye on the "People You May Know" panel at bottom right corner of main facebook page.

don't add everyone you've ever met. don't scrape the bottom of the barrel. you'll actually feel lonely and dirty that way. it's pretty impossible to have a 100 actual friends anyways. why don't you show people you only add people who are actually your friends.
