How do you completely deactivate a facebook account?
I had an old facebook account that I never used and recently deactivated it.Now I want to use that email address for a facebook account I'm using now.How is this possible? When I try it says that the email I'm trying to use is already in use. What do I need to do to use this email address for my new facebook account?

Go to the settings and edit profile or whatever under where you see ur picture at the top and click it and click on the "deactivate" account button.
Then it's deactivated;D

First of all Remove Facebook Connect logins , such as your mobile phone, messengers and twitter plugins etc.
Log in to your account and go to " http://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php...te_account "
Click "Submit" and follow instructions.
You will receive an email saying that your account will be deleted in 14 days. Any interaction with the account during that period could prevent it from being deleted. so don't log in again for 14 days.Wait and watch. At the end of 14 days, all of your posts, comments, info, etc., will be permanently made inaccessible on Facebook.
