Will getting drunk help me deal with my ex getting a new bf?

I checked my ex girlfriend's facebook today and I found she is now in a relationshtip with some guy. Saying that I feel like **** isnt nearly enough to describe how I am feeling right now. I am miserabe and depressed and angry and jealous and I just want the pain to go away. What can I do to get her out of my head? I am considering getting drunk even though I dont drink alcohol. Any ideas?

i casual drink, so it might sounds hypocritical. i watch people at parties drunk dialing ex's saying shit they dont mean. dont do it. it wont do you any good.
what will get you to stop thinking about it, is focusing your attention on other things.

when im ever feeling down, i grab a friend and go lax, just rip some shots on an open net. so its sports for me. it sounds cliche, but working out, hobbies will get you out of this rut.

go to a club, party with friends, meet new people. you dont need to jump in the water right away. but its good to make a step in the right direction

Getting drunk will generally not prevent you from thinking about the person. If anything, you will think about them more. It might numb the emotion of it though. I'd avoid getting plastered, especially if you were planning to do it by yourself. Just find a buddy you trust and talk about it. And go talk to some other girls. Hell, watch some porn. Haha.
