Is there a way to cancel a friend request on Facebook?
I accidentally friended my teacher. She's really young and cool and a couple of my friends are friends with her on Facebook, but they're closer to her than I am. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to cancel a friend request. Thanks!!!

Yes. Find her profile, and at the top where there's usually the option to "Add as a Friend," it should say "Friend Request Pending." Click "Cancel Request," or whatever it says there.

Once you become friends, you can remove her. But honestly, what's to say she'll accept. She might not want to be your friend as much as you don't want to be hers.

First, click on "Account." A drop-down menu will come down. Click on "Edit Friends." On the editing page, click on "Friends," and find your teacher, and press the "X" near her name. It will then say "Are you sure you want to remove your request to connect to (your teacher's name)?" Click "Remove," and it will do so.

if you cant find what hirgon said or whoever answered your question first. Just wait it out. If the teacher adds you, you can just delete her as a friend.

Are people still using that site? I though everyone would move on over to Mylot, because they basically pay you to do what you do on facebook for free. Smile
