How do I start a facebook group?

I want to make a facebook group how do I go about doing this?

Group or Page?

To make a GROUP - follow A.
To make a PAGE - follow B.

A. There is a group application, which you find located on the left side of your chat bar, it is a little blue icon. From there on it is very obvious.

B. To make a page however, you must go to the very bottom of the page(any page) where there is the little blue links like terms of service and stuff. Click on the one that says advertising. From there click on pages and it will let you create a page. Another way to do this is logout and below the part where you can make a facebook, there is a link to let you make a page.
