how do i hide my relationship on facebook?

okay so i gotta facebook account and i have "secret" girlfriend and i dont want any adult to know. Now my mom found me on facebook and she wants to add me i have about 70 friends and it says im in a relationship and if she sees that im dead any help?

If you go into Privacy Settings, there's an option for Family and Relationship. If you go to Customize, you can exclude specific people from seeing that information. You just better hope that your mother doesn't add you as her son on Facebook because then she might notice that she can't see that.

You can change the setting where it says your in a relationship.
It's not required to have that on your profile.
