How do you know which social site to sign up with? What's the difference between FaceBook & Myspace?
I'm so confused. There are so many social sites, how do you know which one is right for you? I'm not a teen just wanting to talk with everyone. I'm a mother of grown children! I don't want to see almost naked people in my face or someone wanting a date. Can anyone give me some insight?

well myspace is a whole lot better, but their advertisments are kinda extreme.
i have both, but myspace is alot more fun because facebook is very boring and could get a little confusing. try getting both if you can't make up your mind. and just cancel the accounts if you decide you don't want em. go with facebook if you don't want to see those kind of advertisements[dating, stuff like that] |

As a Facebook user for the last 4yrs or so, Facebook has more privacy. You can control so many things from who can see your profile and how much they can see; whether or not you show up in search. The wall similar to the comment section on Myspace is only accessible to your friends.
Someone did say you can do more with myspace. so can you with facebook. You can add apps for youtube, music players and so many other things. You can even join groups for issues and stuff you like. Facebook is mostly for the 22-34yr crowd. have met some sane people on there and the only naked pictures you may get to see are those of the friends you added and they'd have to give you permission before you see said pictures |

Facebook is much more classy, both in design and the people it tends to attract. If you want a site that will stay with you and work when you're in high school, college, and beyond, go with Facebook.
