"RT" is used to signify that you are reposting a twitter update from another user.. it is usually followed by the "@username..."
@ symbol is used primarily to address another twitter user.. ex. say your friends screenname is "twituser," in order to address them or reply to them in a tweet, you'd type; @twituser *and your message here* the # symbols basically connect your twitter comment to a bunch of other twitter post that relate to the "#" for example: #thankfulfor (is a post including things your thankful for) #monkeys (your post will be included with other posts including monkeys) it's not necessary to use.. but to gain more followers.. for more go here.. http://help.twitter.com/portal and follow me if you'd like.. @LaDarko |
