Why is my best friend acting this way?

My best friend is a girl and we've been friends for three years now. I know her entire family and they know me. I added her sister on Facebook and we chat a little. The day after i added her sister, I called her and she keeps telling me that I found a new friend and that I don't need her anymore. I don't understand why she is acting this way. Please help me. I don't want to loose my best friend. And please don't talk nonsense because I'm dead serious about her.

She's probably jealous of her sister. Her sister is probably popular and good at making friends. Let your friend know that your not going anywhere and that your friendship is SOLID!

Maybe she's a bit jealous? You didn't say if you are a boy or girl. If you are a boy, then maybe she actually likes you more than just a friend. Maybe you can try to ask her out and try to talk with her, tell her that you don't want to loos her because she is your best friend.
