How should I respond to this comment this guy made?
I was DMing (on Twitter) this guy I hooked up with a few weeks ago. We have been trying to hang out again but never had compatible schedules. Anyway, we were talking about how it's been a while since we saw each other, and he says "Thanks! I haven't seen you in so long I forgot what you even look like- I just remember I liked what I saw! Smile"

I'm not sure how to take this because it is kind of insulting but I'm not sure if he actually meant it to be insulting or not. How should I respond to it?

...I don't even see how that can be taken as an insult.

It's a compliment, but he is just a little retarded.
