How can I make my wall private for friends only?

I thought I had the privacy settings done. BUT when I logged on to sister's facebook and checked mine out------ ( we are not facebook friends BTW) it showed my wall was public to people. How to make the wall posts 'friends only'?

This really should be in the computers and internet section, but I shall respond according to the section into which it was written, with the assumption that you knew what you were doing.

It is not bad etiquette to make your wall private. Others will understand. Your parents might not, but too bad for them; it's not their wall. With identity theft and stalking becoming an increasingly dangerous and common threat, it is completely understandable to make your wall private.
