How do I download pictures from my LG Optimus to Facebook?

I took some pictures with the camera but I can't seem to download them to Facebook. I get messages from Facebook to my texting also so my phone is connected to facebook.
I clicked on the Facebook for LG in the sharing section and it still doesn't work. Strange.

Go to the picture in your gallery then click menu on the bottom right corner then share on the bottom left and it will have options just click facebook or facebook for lg.
