If you have iMovie: How do you make an iMovie video into a picture?

I recorded a video of my family a few days ago and there is this part where my brothers are smiling and would be perfect as a picture! The only problem is: i have no clue how to take that small part of the video and make it into a picture. I already tried to send it to iPhoto, but it comes out as a movie clip not a picture. And when I try to upload it to facebook, it says it is a video file. help?

search the 'preview' application, you should have it. once the video is on pause where you want it, file>grab>window in preview. click on the imovie window. it will take a photo. then file>grab>selection and crop your brothers out. there's probably a better and easier way, but this is how i would do it.

Then just drag the picture to your desktop and upload it to facebook

If it's still not working, just take a screenshot (for a selected screenshot hit apple/command key, shift, and 4 at the same time)
