How do I delete my Facebook?

I want to get rid of my old facebook and make a new one.
About half the people on my facebook claimed to know me but I don't know them. I also don't like my old boyfriends on there and some people are just creeping me out.
I don't want to be rude and block people, so I figured I would just make a new one and then add only the people I want on there.

you can delete these friends and they won't even know. Just go to your friends list and in the top right corner of their name there's a remove button.

You could go to your account settings.

Or just delete specific people and then change your name

help on at the bottom says permanently delete my account and they will ask you are you sure you say yes

Just go to settings and then account settings. You can delete your account from there.
