My new girlfriend is bisexual - Could that have any bearing on our relationship?
I've just gotten a new girlfriend, and I friend her on Facebook. Her profile says Interested in "Men and Women". I ask another friend about it, and he says, yeah, she's bisexual, but she's only dated guys before. My question, this may sound paranoid, but could this have any bearing on our relationship? I'm not saying she's going to be stolen away by some woman, just, could this have any bearing on anything? Never been in this situation before...
Thank you.

Only bearing it has on ours is we have different tastes in women, so girl watching takes on a whole new flavor. Straight girl would dump you for a guy just as easily. her morals not her sexual orientation has the primary bearing on your relationship.

It will depend upon her. Some people will date or have relationships with only one other person. While other people will date one person and have relationships with other people (who may be of the same sex) outside of the relationship. As far as another woman entering the relationship and stealing your girlfriend away. Another guy could also do the same thing. Just because she is attracted to women; does not mean she plans on cheating on you. Although, I would talk to her and find out what kind of relationship she wants and you want and make sure they are compatible.

no it doesn't matter. I'm bi and have been with a straight man for 2 years. It just means you have a little more competition and hat she thinks your better than not just all the guys but all the women too. Smile
