How do you approve followers on Twitter?
I just protected my tweets cause my parents keep trying to snoop on me and I just wanted to know how you approve people requesting to follow you. Like does a message get sent to my email and has an option to approve or decline the tweeter? When I login does it just show it? Can I do it from my phone?
Sorry if I sound kinda mental, I just joined haha Thanks everyone! Ads |

If you have to protect your tweets to prevent your parents from "snooping," then you are most likely don't need a twitter.

You are not prompted to approve Twitter followers. But you do have the option of blocking them.
Simply go to your Twitter home, or profile page. Click on "followers". Find the person that is following that you want to block. Click on the little gear icon to the right of their name. Select "Block [their name]". One piece of advice though. As a parent, if my minor child were to block me from following them, or friending them, or whatever, they would surely be called in for a quick conference, and if they didn't unblock me, they would lose all internet/phone privileges. A parent's right (and responsibility) to ensure their child's safety outweighs their child's right to privacy. |
