How can i find lost relatives?

I have lost contact with my son and daughter Ashley and Gary Cloggie. i have no idea how to find them as they may have changed their names and my ex wife has cut off communications. any suggestions are most appreciated.

Start looking in the area/address you last knew them to be, contact neighbours, school friends, other family ( like grandparents) who may know where they are....write a letter and give it to people addressed to them, they may say they don't know where they are, however if they do they may passon the letter.
Go on the social websites and search, like Facebook, Myspace, refriends reunited Bebo.
Put an advert in the local paper that you are searching for them.
Look at online directories & the electrol roll
