How do I hide my family members from most of the persons on facebook?

I have listed 'xxx' as my sister and 'yyy' as my brother and they both accept the request. The problem now is I don't want most of the people in my friends list to see that I have 'xxx' and 'yyy' as my sister and brother respectively. Is there a way to do it?

Do you mean you have them listed in your profile, and want to hide it? Why don't you just remove them from your profile? You don't have to have them listed to keep them as friends.

Or you can go to your privacy setting and go click on customize settings. Then under "things I share - family" click to change the privacy setting to Hide from everybody except_______________ (probably your brother and sister)

But remember just because it's hidden in your profile doesn't hide it on your wall. You may have to change that privacy setting to. But I noticed that if you don't allow people to see your wall, the also can't post on it.
