How do you delete your Facebook acct?

I want to cancel my Facebook acct completely.How do I do that?

It's under Account > Account Settings > Deactivate Account.

^ That is the way to PERMANENTLY (Not deactivation) delete your account. Keep in mind that if you do this,you can't log in for two weeks,or it will just log you back in and the deletion will be null. Facebook likes to trick people into thinking deactivation is the only way to delete your account in order for them to keep your information for advertisers.
