How often is too often when it comes to talking to someone you want to get to know more?

Asking because I want to get to know this dude in my math class more, as a friend. I used to have a huge crush on him, but he already has a girlfriend, so that's not for me right now.

I love to talk to him. We have each other's Facebook's and numbers, but just how much is too much? I don't wanna come off as needy and annoying.

He does say hi to me first in class sometimes, so its not all me.

Theres no limit, if two people like and enjoy spending time together, they put all the bullsh*tting aside and just spend time with each other.

and you know that he's already taken.
don't make advances or overtures to him, just be naturally friendly...
