how to keep someone from finding out you have facebook?

my relative is trying to find out if me or my cousins have facebook and we do but its private and no one can search for us. However, he knows some of my older cousins have facebook but I'm mutual friends with them. How do I prevent from getting found out? What if he makes a facebook? WIll I be safe if I just deactivate?

Just block him so he can't find you, he also won' be able to see comments you make on your cousins statuses or anything

The best thing to do is try to find them first and block them so that way they will never be able to find you or your cousins. The only thing is if they get on someone else account they may be able to find you guys! Or you can make your account to where only friends can see your picture or anything about you. Hope this helps!
