How do you take a good picture making your eyes stand out a lot?

I have blue eyes and I want to make a cool profile picture on facebook. I dont want to take just a picture of my eye...but a close up on my face so that my eyes really stand out. How do I take a picture that really shows off my blue eyes?

ok, so use photoshopp or picnik, and take a photo of yourself and then make the rest of the picture gray except your iris. itlooks REALLY cool. also, you can increasre ur eye size. if u want me to do it for you, email me a photo at (caelinluvsdance@yahoo.com) and ill send it back to u

definitely take a close up of your face to see your gorgeous blue eyes.
It's best to take the picture in the sunlight. When your eyes hit the sunlight the camera will pick up a lot of the details in your eyes.
Also avoid to colorful backgrounds you want the focus to be on your eyes.

well when you do smile make your cheekbones go up , make sure you focus on squeezing the end of your eyes together that'll make the rest of your eyes look fuller and brighter. raise your eyebrows a bit too. you may have a twinkle in your eyes..(:
