he is your father you should love him no matter what. PArents can sometimes be out of touch and try to hard to be part of your life. If he is being to pushy about something explain to him the problem (don't yell!!) and maybe you can get some where. also help him to see what you like to do in your spare time and how you feel about things. Parents are made to be parents and not best friends but that doesn't mean we shouldn't spend time together doing things as a family

While family is very important to me I believe that a family member can be so awful as to break the bond. Stick to your guns and don't feel badly if it truly is so bad and it cannot be resolved.

I have to assume that this "person" is trying to contact you via Facebook messaging system.

So, what you do is you ignore them. As soon as you give them five minutes out of your life, they will think that they have a hold on you and will further pursue.

Don't give them any of this. Instead, cut them off completely and block them.

My opinion...
