Opinions please, i received a facebook email saying i had a message, but when i logged in there was no message?
I got an email off Facebook from my brother saying 'hey Aww must have just missed you!' As if I was online. Then when I checked my Facebook the message wasn't there. And its not a virus. Does it sound like someones been on my account or it it a Facebook mistake?

there's no way to know for sure what the reason could be
are you sure the email came from facebook, or did it just look like it came from facebook? it's possible someone got into your facebook account and deleted it before you were able to read it |

It is a Facebook mistake, it happens to my friends a few times too, sometimes the emails are sent out late when you're messaging someone on Facebook, you'll get a delay, then receive an email that you have mail, when actually you just read it.

It could be either/or. Just in case, I would change my password.
