How many people should I invite to my graduation party?

I am going to have a graduation party this summer and I am unsure what is the customary number of people to invite. I see party invitations on facebook already inviting hundreds of students, but I had been planning to have just ten of my closest friends and my family come. Is that abnormal? I also worry that if I invite such a small amount there is a chance none of them would be able to come if their parties are on the same day or they have another party to go to, etc and I'll just be all alone. : /

There is no customary number IMO. I invited as many that could attend and I had a pretty hot turn out, around three-dozen or so. It was one of the greatest nights of my life and it will be etched into my memory for the rest of my life and into the after-life.
